Louis Foster will head to the Brands Hatch GP circuit for this weekend’s round of the BRDC British F3 Championship, fresh off the back of his maiden win in the series last time out at Donington Park.
The Lord Wandsworth College pupil has impressed continuously since the start of the season, taking a double pole position in the opening round at Oulton Park, as well as his first podium before enjoying further success with victory at Donington.
As a result, the Copart-supported driver currently sits fourth in the championship standings only 46 points behind leader Kaylen Frederick and is the highest-ranked series debutant.
Brands Hatch is a track where Louis has enjoyed much success at in the past with a win around the Indy circuit in British F4 last year and a further win and second-place podium finish at the GP layout in the 2018 Ginetta Junior Championship.
“I’m looking forward to getting the weekend underway at Brands Hatch,” Louis said. “I’ve had a really strong start to the year and to have that first win in the bag already is a huge confidence boost. We’ve got another few sessions in the car before qualifying so I’ll be using those to build up as much pace as possible, which will be important with the extra race again this weekend. I’m confident we can have another good weekend and keep the momentum going.”
The weekend will begin with qualifying at 9:00 on Saturday morning, followed by the first race later in the morning at 11:45. The second race of the weekend will take place at 14:55 on Saturday afternoon with races three and four on Sunday at 10:25 and 15:45 respectively.
